Emily T. Etzkorn, MD

Dr. Etzkorn specializes and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. She graduated Cum Laude from Albany Medical College in 1994. She completed her dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1998.
She has been in private practice in Amsterdam since 2001 and maintains a busy primary care practice there. She enjoys caring for the entire family. She maintains hospital privileges at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.

Lydia T. Mawad, MD

Dr. Mawad is a Board Certified Pediatrician and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Peurto Rico and received her Medical Degree at Ponce School of Medicine in 2007. She joined Dr. Etzkorn in September, 2012.
She worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin and a general pediatrician at clinics in Wisconsin and New Mexico. She is very happy to be serving the patients in our community and greatly enjoys being part of the lives of children and adolescents. She lives locally with her husband and two young children.

Jessica L. Benoit, FNP-BC

Jessica L. Benoit is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She recently graduated from Stony Brook University. She joined our practice in September 2019. Prior to joining us Jessica was a Registered Nurse fulfilling the role of Charge Nurse for 6 years prior to attending Stony Brook University. Jessica is both ACLS and BLS Certified. She lives locally with her husband and children.

Stephanie Rudin, FNP-BC
Stephanie is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of Russell Sage College in December 2022. Prior to joining the practice, Stephanie worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years in the Bronx. Stephanie loves spending time with her family and dog. Stephanie looks forward to getting to know the community.
Jennifer S. DesJardins, FNP-BC
Jennifer is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. For 28 years she worked as an R.N. In 2017 she graduated from Walden University with an MSN in nursing education and then proceeded to obtain a family nurse practitioner post master’s degree certification from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Prior to joining us she worked in gastroenterology and geriatrics. In her free time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
